I don't know the song pattern, but with that all done, it should be
pretty easy to follow
Currently I am working on:
We're All Alone
X-ray Mind
and
Lifeless Dead
When I get them done, I'll be sure to send them to ya.

| "See you all from time to time Isn't it so strange How far away we all are now Am I the only one who remembers that summer Oh, I remember Everyday each time the place was saved The music that we made The wind has carried all of that away " Man, these words strike right to the core of anyone who has gone to college and had strong friendships there. This song is completely about regret and how fate just isnt fair sometimes. We all know of Layne's problems with heroin which ultimately led to his demise. The art which was created from his torment is of a caliber which will be hard to match but surely will be imitated. I have kept this song at the forefront of my mind and I find myself referring to it any time these familiar emotions are stirred. Truly a classic and definitely one of the best songs yet composed. | |

| The booklet actually has a few errors in it... The last time, it is "open flames"... notice that the booklet also has "girl" in the last verse a few times, but it's not there in the song... | |

| Silver spoons fix the crown The luckless ones are broken Fears and lies for answers You and open flames I interpret this little stanza as more social commentary. "Silver spoons affix the crowns" refers to how the affluent and wealthy get all the power, while everyone else is held down, some even in poverty. Kinda like the notion of the bourgeoisie verses the proletariat. Then the lyric moves to indicate that all that the media has to offer as to why things are as they are is "fears and lies," eventually leaving us to burn proverbially. I think the song as a whole is a testiment to how your views change with age. | |

| this song could be about relationship inside ALICE IN CHAINS, at least the part where Layne is singing: See you all from time to time Isn't it so strange How far away we all are now Am I the only one who remembers that summer Oh, I remember Everyday each time the place was saved The music that we made The wind has carried all of that away Too bad that Layne was a junkie. He was so talented, but drugs destroyed and hurt so many people including LAYNE STALEY, KURT COBAIN, ANDREW WOOD, SID VICIOUS and all of us who love their music and always will. REST IN PEACE TOO ALL FALLEN HEROES. | |

| My heart almost stopped when i heard "i fear again like then i lost my way" i think he is reffering to his addiction. and how he was clean for a very litte time when he wrote this so he's scared that he'll start up again. and he did..and died from it. thats sad. | |

| I fear again right then I've lost my way...not I fear again like then I've lost my way... anyways...I would like to think this song is about the eventual dissolution of Alice in Chains.... Layne still misses his friends but for some reason they're not wanting to hang out with him any longer... obviosulythere is more to it than just that, but I haven't quite been able to put two and two together... All I know, is that this song is amazing... Lanegan and and Layne with their voices dancing around eachother gives me shiver everytime I hear this song... | |

| this is one of the most beautiful songs ever. to me, it's about regret. things you wish you said, things you wish you did. despite all the crap that's happened since, he remembers one summer fondly, even if no one else does. he want's to hold on to that summer forever. i've had a summer like that. i always feel like i'm the only one who remembers what a good time we had. all the friends that shared it with me have forgotten. kinda makes me teary-eyed. | |

| this song is one of my favorites by mad season. i think ive figured it all out by the liner notes in the above album. it's basically about wanting to get in touch with those that you loved, but haven't kept in touch with over the years and wanting the good times to last. once they're gone or "washed away with the rain" you feel such isolation and loneliness. the one line that really got me bawling, especially when Layne died was "silver spoons affix the crown. the luckless ones are broken" meaning that many of his friends had drifted into heroin, including himself. and died. this was written only a short time before Demri, Layne's fiance died. they had a falling out a year or so before. | |
