That's it. It is hard to hear the bass from the Manic's songs, but
this is pretty much as it sounds.

| intro "You can buy her, you can buy her, this one's here, this one's here, this one's here, and this one's here. Everything's for sale" riiiight...i think that line in the chorus is pretty damn disturbing but maybe it's just me(?!)..and wtf does "for $200 anyone can conceive a god on video" mean? | |

| The soundclip at the end of track says (I think) "Two dollars you rub her tits Three dollars you rub her ass Five dollars you can play with her pussy Or you can lick her tits Choice is yours" | |

| It could just be me, but I don't think this song is solely written about prostitution. To me it isn't only about it, but also about corruption, money, and the belief these days that you can get anything you want if you hand over some money. I also agree with a few of the others here. | |

| If you listen very carefully as this song fades you can hear the "this one's here" man saying something like "for five dollars you can lick her tits" which confirms it as being about prostitution. | |

| "he's a boy, you want a girl so tear off his cock tie his hair in bunches, fuck him, call him Rita if you want " is also, I think, about having to change yourself to be what other people want, and how we have to be so difefrent when we're with different groups of people or in different situations | |

| this song is exactly about prostitution of the self. people will do all kinds of things if they think they'll get a bit of money out of it at the end of it. that's why the songs about a prostitute. the whole point is that richey was looking for a person to fit the bill for the song. what better example is there than a prostitute for it. if a little bit of money's involved she'll do ne thing including risking disease. the idea of the prostitute also has a go at society. the fact that not everyone in it can find a job to support themselves they must resort to extreme measures shows that it's perhaps not completely about comsumerism | |
