well... i will say one thing.. ive never heard it put in the way of a child molester... but i guess thats what it could be.. id like to refer to it as a classic stoner song... along with some of bob marley's songs but even if it does refer to a little girl... i think i like the idea of the skool... thx for the imput guys.. ive learned my info for the day.. time to go sleep till tomarrow ;)

i've always thought this song was about a one night stand, or maybe getting back together with an ex. i suppose i probably misinterpreted it, but it seems like he's really lonely at the start, then he finds a girl, and takes her home. after they have sex she's sitting in his house, and he wonders who it really is that's lounging in his chair, and casting devious stare in his direction. he's just so releived to have someone for the time being he says, "mama, this surely is a dream". i know i'm wrong, but i thought it was worth sharing.

ok, i am not positive about the origin of the song, but the band name i do know about: Marcy's is a catholic scholl where the lead singer went in his childhood. he rememeberd sitting in class and staring at th payground, Marcy's Playground.
