Song: Kayleigh
Artist: Marilion
Album: Misplaced Childhood
Autor: Ramondo Kok

warning!! there are many differences between the album version and
the moren known single version. I have written the album version.
the differences are: no intro and outro and a shorter solo

the whole album is one song so it sounds good if you play pseudo silk komone
before and lavender after this song
I have not marked al the bars, i cant read notes so i only marked the ones
i was sure of

listen well, sometimes it looks that he does more than he really does

The album "Misplaced Childhood" is one of my favourite from Marillion. I believe Fish had the idea for this album while on acid.

This song is just "The Shit" This song brings back so many memories for me I love it. And it reminds me of my first love who played a guitar and sang it. I was much younger than him. And I guess age and maturity was a issue for him, but when I hear this song all I can do is think about what could have been.

This is the highest ever charting Marillion song reaching #2 in the United Kingdom behind charity fundraiser "You'll Never Walk Alone" by the Crowd. Although i dont like Pop Rock ballads especially if they are done by a band like Marillion which used to be more into Prog Rock in the early 80's but this seems to be one of their best short songs in the Fish era. My brother is crazy about this song and especially the solo!!!.

If you read the liner notes in Misplaced Childhood, Fish had this song when he was on an acid trip, and most of the band members were against having Fish's ex girlfriend used in a song, but they went ahead with it, and now, thanks to them 95% of Kayleigh's in the UK are named after that song, my fiancee included lol.
