the word that's causing such a controversy right now was used to make a point--everyone else is someone else's minority.. everyone else is someone else's punching bag.. or toy to kick around.

gee, Philadelphia Eagles, you seem to be pretty full of hate yourself. I thought Christianity was about love.

This song sounds so f*cking sinister, it's a little chilling. The song after this "The Beautiful People" is also great. And he means "nigger" as in slaves, because the blacks were enslaved by the whites, duh. I guess what he's trying to say is that we're all slaves to the society and the hierarchy system. "I am the idiot who will not be himself" - Unlike animals, he can not be himself because of his consciousness. He is much too aware of himself to be himself. So just "fuck it", fuck everything, forget everything, destroy everything and be yourself. "Philadelphia Eagles" is a joke.

Antichrist Superstar is the largely autobiographical story of the worm who becomes a hateful, irresponsible, dirty dirty rockstar. An Antichrist Superstar, and the world embraces it. When I say story, I don't just mean it has a theme, I mean it's a god damn STORYYY. Insane, yes. But true, nonetheless. Survey the booklet in the inside of the album, it says at the bottom that it was recorded live in 1997. The album came out in 96, which kind of is a slap-in-the-face hint at the fact that this is a story. The story, then, starts sort of at the end. We get to see what this Antichrist Superstar is all about. Irresponsible hatred. This is, in my theory, meant to be like...one of the Antichrist Superstar's songs. It shows what he's about, and how people seem to adore the entire thing. Hence crowd shouting "We hate love, we love hate". After this, the story BEGINS with the Beautiful People, sort of a look at the world around the worm. For more clues on this, see the back of the cd case. The story is divided into 3 parts.

Philadelphia Eagles, why do you come in here? you obviously hate the man. before you were doing nothing but spit hatred about him, now you're annalysing the song. are you trying to come out on top by showing this patronising little act of reasoning?

"Everybody's someone else's nigger" That's true. "Nigger" as being "outcast", you're always looked upon as worthless shit by some people. It's impossible to please everyone.
