| This song to me is about someone who has a negative view as far as life, god, love, happiness, and so forth. This person felt different from everyone else and he could never fit in, then he finally found someone like him, then that person was taken away, possibly a girl/boyfriend, or maybe a close friend. I'm guessing this song is about a girl judging from the last verse. | |

| I dunno if this has been said before because I couldn't be bothered to read the other responses.... but I think that this song is about one of two things: an adverse mentality that has infected someone ("the angel") but been gotten rid of with drugs so it resigned to withering away OR a person with a mental condition who has lost someone close to them ("the angel") and kills him/herself as a result. | |
