I believe it's how christians, or rather all religous people, look at horrific events in the religons history as right, necessary, and peaceful. While from anyone else is is a horrific event. it's how ppl use the guise of religion to justify everything that they do. that is what I believe this song is about. "This is a riot Religious and clean "

i think this is about how christians who believe in god will kind of betray there real thoughts in what or how certain events take place. It shows what they feel is right,neccessary,peaceful and wrong and what marilyn manson is saying is he is just a belief because of what happens

I think win he sings "God is just a statistic," he mean that the reason God is so big is because so many people liked it. Every realigion starts as a cult and grows. I'm 100% positive Christianity wasn't a hit the day of conception.
