| although this is a cover of the eurythmics song, its still a very dark song - the original was kinda poppy, and like a lot of songs, people got the meaning wrong (every step you take by sting, is about a stalker, people layed it at their weddings, imagine by john lennon is about communism, etc etc). its very suggestive. i think its about the dark side of love, the pain it often brings. sweet dreams are made when you love someone, but sometimes they use you, they abuse you, they want to be used and they want to be abused - its about masochism, in a nutshell. | |

| This is the best song Marilyn Manson does in my opinon. I mean sure its not an original but he really made this song that much better than the original. He took the orignal hook, which already was kinda eerie, and built the rest of the song around that mood. I give him credit for changing the song without ruining it. | |
