| Mansons isn't anti-christ because he's satanic or anything, he's anti-religion because he's against what it represents. And wanting a guy to die a horrible death, that's not very Christian. | |

| I'd had the impression that Coma Black was also about the end of his five year (?) relationship with his girlfriend, whom he'd labeled the source of a lot of inspiration for him (she also got him a lot of mainstream attention, given her wholesome image). The cries of, "you took the angel away" seem to be lamenting her loss. | |

| I dunno if this has been said before because I couldn't be bothered to read the other responses.... but I think that this song is about one of two things: an adverse mentality that has infected someone ("the angel") but been gotten rid of with drugs so it resigned to withering away OR a person with a mental condition who has lost someone close to them ("the angel") and kills him/herself as a result. | |

| This song reminds me of my current situation. My best friend stole my girlfriend of 3 years ("The Angel"), and after this had occured, I felt like commiting suicide. Well a while ago, she told me that she still loved me and wanted to be with me. I feel that the APPLE OF DISCORD is about 2 people stuggling for the same woman and she is "torn" between them. It is this tension that "breaks her heart." | |
