If any of you have seen the Guns, God and Government DVD, especially the "Death Parade" short film, you'll remember the concert where he held up a photo of a girl who was "beat up every day, and eventually couldn't take it anymore, so she killed herself"... I'm really not sure that this song, or any along the same lines lyrically, are about specific people, but more like those who are in the same situation, as well as giving recognition to those who do deserve it. As has been said, the media took advantage of events like Columbine and September 11th, making them into ratings battles, into a business for sheer sake of profit, and thus making these events really more tragic than they needed to be. The fact that people could EVER use these events for their own ends is just sick, and that's what this song in particular feels like it's touching on more than anything else.

The way he repeats the verses is kinda spooky. Repeating verses is commonly used in nursery ryhmes, most nursery rhymes repeat verses, as it's simple to read and to understand for children. I might get a lot of stick for this but Manson is a lyrical genius and his lyrics are highly underrated because of his image. It's sad, because he truly is one of the best, if not THE best lyricist of our generation, along with Eminem (people will debate that too).
