	I think this song is saying how people expect him to be like them. How he refuses it and how he is better then they ever will be. He isn't there kind of perfect. He is a better kind.

	The Aints is a band name used by Ed Kuepper during his prolific early 1990s period for loud, feedback-drenched three-piece performance and recordings. The name is a variation on The Saints, the band Kuepper had formed with Chris Bailey in Brisbane in the early 1970s. It apparently derived from an old Saints bass drum head on which the initial letter "S" had worn off. Kuepper has stated his aim with the Aints was to recapture the energy of the Saints in the late 1970s. Although the band's set started with Saints material, the sound of the band was more a driving three-piece with Neil Young-style feedback. The later original material featured saxophone and a more free-form approach. cool info

	I just d-loaded the video for this. it's disturbing but the cinematography doesn't fit very well with the music. But Manson's videos seem to be hit and miss anyway so it's expected. Good song and okay video but they don't really mix. Besides that, This song does have an eighties pop sound to it rather than the classic 30's vaudeville theme. At least it still fits in with the album theme (if not the essence of it). I'm not a fan of Marilyn Manson but I do have to admit his last three studio albums were superbly produced.

	I'm not sure when he left nothing. Since Manson has surpassed Trent on popularity, as he so strongly believes, I guess he's assuming people now buy NIN stuff because of Manson. As he said "And as long as I'm paying his bills, he should be respectful of me." Just read my previous post for the interview

	I find the wordplay in this song very amusing. "I've got an F and a C and I got a K too And the only thing that's missing is a bitch like yoU" and of course "Hold the S because I am an AINT". He still hasn't lost his touch... And this song most definatly is about being used by people; that has pretty much always been a theme in his music, as he realizes how shallow people are. Reminds me of how he said (in "Long Hard Road Out Of Hell") that he chose to cover "Sweet Dreams" because it perfectly described what he had come to realize... Or something like that. But I digress.

	I read in Kerrang! that when he made the video, he was seriously thinking about suicide, and that there was nothing in the world worth living for. The video, and I quote: 'Nothing was faked. The video shows Manson snorting coke from a bible, masturbating and having graphic sex with both men and women.' The video and the song itself shows someone who's tired of being everyone's butt-monkey. Powerful.

	I read a review that marilyn manson was in a while ago and manson said that it was a common misconception that it was about rose mcgowen. It's really about his relationship with the world and how people use him like a few people mentioned at first.

	Im a huge fan of NIN, and i dont see the reznor influence, if there is any in here, it would just be the style of trent that has rubbed off on brian. I dont think trent has an Active role here, as they dont like each other anymore
