| Similar feeling with Through with you. It's about a post relationship, and Adam came back upgraded and he's not planning to return back to her, but is going to try his best to make this girl feel shitty, by showing off how much of a better man he's become, and by choosing another woman over her. because she did not see his potentials as the full grown man he is, before. | |

| It's amazing how these lyrics work out. Maroon 5 knows the score. They say it so simply, but they do it in a way that just...works. I love that they don't need to be cryptic in their lyrics. Sadly, this song is PERFECT for a problem I was having with a friend. With the whole thing about how "you can push me away, but I won't let it get to me, I'll grow and learn from it, and you won't be able to stand the idea that I CAN go on without you." I used to listen to this song and think, "this is how it is." Because they do know, they aren't just talking out of their asses. | |
