	I think Cedric is obsessed with the term "cul-de-sac." It appears in every ATDI cd and, yet again, here in The Mars Volta. He's way rad.

	This album is just ripping my mind apart and it probabky will for the rest of the year because i cannot stop listening to it. Fortunetly, this song is not about Cedric reminicing about ATDI. Cedric and Omar have gladly (and a little bit scornfully) put ATDI far behind them. Yes the entire album is a concept album. A ficticous adventure within a very real coma. They claim every song follows that concept or narrative if you will, but since they're writing about another person's subcounsois and not their own; i suppose they would have to put some of their own experiences and ideals into the songwriting.

	i personally think this song is about how the lead singer was lost after ATDI broke up. Stitches breaking up probably refers to the breaking of the close bond that ATDI had. Also nectar could be a metaphor for riches (fame?) that sparta is recieving and it was all collected due to the lead singer. but he has defected and is doing better well thats my 2 cents

	Hey who the hell changed my (i was yacantfademe) lyrics to Cicatriz ESP These are the lyrics to the demo version the new ones are a bit different. Somebody should change that back again.
