Very easy stuff, but damn, this is a good one! The "sampled part" is what's
played during the slowed down sample of The Cure's "10:15 On a Saturday Night"
("drip-drip"...) Enjoy.

I think this is one of Horace Andy's better songs for MA...It's also a cover of 'I got to get away' by Dave Barker, or is at least based on it.

This is a cover of a song originally performed by reggae artist John Holt in 1961. It has also been covered by The Slits.

I dunno what some of you are on about this is an amazing track, i couldn't imagen skipping it. I think the meaning is straight farward like others have said, a guy that is rasing his family in a bad part of town and deciding that its time to get out

I believe the song's about a drug dealer in the neighbourhood. I adore Horace Andy as a reggae singer. There is an interesting delay sequence used on the drums at the beginning and throughout the track that sounds superb combined with Horace's vocals. He also sang "One Love" from Blue Lines, which is also a simple yet effective track. Massive Attack have the power to produce very simple tracks that always pulls the right strings.

i find it ironic because i believe it was he, who left the band to settle down for a better marriage, and this song would explain it. I thought he was cool, but i wasn't heartbroken when he left anyways, because i honestly just didn't like his voice very much, especially when he tried to make it vibrate and it would do so ever-so slowly, but there's nothing really wrong with this song other than that. This song isn't too bad, just not too good.
