| I think there are many ways to interpret this song but my personal feeling is that it's about drinking and driving. It is a weapon. "Breathe in, breathe out" after being pulled over. "Give in" to the temptation, and then your mind "give(s) out". "Heaven" is how you feel but it may lead to "destruction". You could also interpret as a political song or even about a relationship. It's pretty obscure. | |

| I may be wrong but I think this is what the second verse is: Be careful (x2) This is where the world drops off (x2) Be careful (x2) And you breathe in, and you breathe out for it Ain't it so weird, how it makes you a weapon And you give in, and you give out for it Ain't it so weird, how it makes you a weapon | |

| I think this song is pretty simple. We are so wrapped up in what the world has to offer, its good and bad. The song basically is about being your own person and withstanding the influences it has to offer (Here by my side, an Angel, Devil, Be careful.) And by being your OWN person and doing your own thing, your stronger for it, it makes you literally "A Weapon." As you go through your every day life, staying true to yourself, painting and leaving your own individuality on the world, while you simply just breath in and out. And FINALLY the influences turn on you as you are not heeding (never turn your back on it again), but you are strong, your "a weapon", so go out there and be an individual! | |

| My own view of the song is that it is about love - real love, not idealized, not painted in pretty pictures. The person you love is an angel and a devil. The person you love destroys you, but gives you so much beauty that you drown in it, that it's a 'new color'. Love is dangerous to both people, and to the people around them - it makes you a 'weapon' because it gives you so much power over the person who loves you. Be careful. | |

| I take this song more literally, or at least what he means in the lyrics. I think the song is, how someone else mentioned, that everyone has the potential for evil. The song to me is someone being seduced by essentially "the devil", and being conflicted as to who to give their faith to. I think the "devil" can represent many different things in this case. Vices. Drug abuse, gambling, alchohol abuse, violence. It's the reason why people turn to terrorism or crime, because one is seduced by thoughts that this will alleviate your pain. So the idea of these things bringing you happiness, essentially represent satan or lucifer, or whatever evil persona we want to attach to it. | |
