| To me this is just a great song by Matthew Good there is something about his lyrics that are just honest and touching in a way that very few in the industry can do. | |

| i think that this song is about someone waking up in the morning, telling themselves not to cop out of life, no matter how bad things are. To me when he says "the reasons for being are easy to pay" it's like they are trying to be positive towards themselves and seeing the benifits of continuing with life. Now as the song goes on it' s almost like the day is coming to an end and as it does the positivity that the person once had is slowly goes away and they start questioning their pressence here. (their life) Do they really want to carry on with life? At the end of the song it's almost as if a new day has started and they have to start all over again. ("Good morning, don't.........") OVERALL I SEE THIS SONG AS A MESSAGE TELLING EVERYONE NOT TO GIVE UP. WE ARE ALL HERE FOR A REASON. MOST OF ALL "BE STRONG" | |

| I thought this song was about the everday life we put ourselves through. How you wake up go to work fight the traffic just to go to bed and do it the next day. And then on the weekdens spend your time buying material posessions which are supposed to make your life have more meaning. that life for some people is in a cubicle and that everyone is slowly wasting away their either "dead or dieing" anyway thats what it meant to me. | |
