| Wow, I love this song. I can't believe no one has commented on it! Anyway if you read in Matt's manfestos he says he thought of this song while he was stranded at sea in a lifeboat. And how he washed up on an island with Dave, Ian, Geoff after being lost at sea for nine days, only to find out they had been on the same ship he had been on when it crashed. (this is how MGB got together) Then they were held captive there for a long time. Sounds crazy but it's true. And to think he went on that cruise to have a holiday. "take me to the shore, and wrap me in a blind tomorrow" The chorus is about how next time he decides to go on a vacation he'll get a room with a view of the ocean, not be out on the ocean. | |
