	Here you can hear clearly that he is trying to say that people are commiting suicide "...fallen souls die behind my steps By following the freezing moon" (People are doing the same as he did) and "Follow it's call Follow the freezing moon" That means: Commit suicide!

	On Live in Leipzig, as an intro to freezing moon, Dead says: "When its cold, and when its dark, the freezing moon can obsess you." So I do agree with the first interpretation.

	If you guys want a good book to read, get Lords of Chaos, sweet book, unless you hate Varg Vikernes, but anyway Oystein Aarseth is the best BM guitarist and Dead is an amazing vocalist

	Yeah, the lyrics are well written considering what the song is about. I think the line: "Fallen souls die behind my steps, by following the freezing moon" is one of the best lines in metal. I probably like Maniacs version on Live in Lipzeig a little better than Attila's.

	It's not about a fucking vampire or a corpse who died of the cold stupid people! It's about commiting suicide. "Follow the freezing moon" is a metaphor for commiting suicide. Thats why he is saying "I remember it was here I died By following the freezing moon " What he means is "I remember it was here i died by commiting suicide" Everyone knows that this song is about commiting suicide you dumb people!
