	Na, lyrics are ok - cottoned on is what it says. 'Caughten on' means nothing; to 'cotton on' means to realise, or indeed 'catch on' to, something.

	I don't care what this song means, it's just such a cool song. By the way, am I the only one who heard "You're such a lucky child" instead of "you're such an ugly child"? Because "lucky" children are usually also ugly and stupid, but it's just their luck that gets them through life...or something like that.

	There's definitely a sexual/porn theme to this song. examples: "pull up your pants, now the camera crew is gone" "wipe up his mess, pay your fluffers by the yard" Also I believe Falco is actually english and moved to whales.

	I was wondering if it refers to Alan Ladd and the film "Shane". Definitely "Cottoned On", Falco's welsh tho, so he's got a bit of an accent on it. Could be worse - could be from Bristol "eee was such aaaan awkwaRRRD child". Basically imagine if it was sung by The Wurzles.
