Loggins & Messina. I remember my first group of friends and the street-lights glowing swollen and orange in the marine layer during December. And I remember the kid who got me into punk music for real singing this. He was a musical genius, and it's not that he had the world's greatest voice. It's that he made us all want to sing this song, learn the words you know? By the end of it, this was the theme song for those nights. I sing this song with conviction.

I foreget who the original artist is who wrote this song, but it is written for his brother whos wife was going to have a baby. The artist wrote it to say he was prooud of his brother, and just to make a beautifully lyrical gesture.

i think its about a young couple, who are obviously having a baby, and there not the richest, and well off people, but they make it. And they'll always love each other.
