Then repeat the riffs played under the verses for the harmony guitar part.
Then play the 3rd chorus.....and thats about it.
A easy song to play, but its fun because the intro is a riff
that people will know when they hear it.

| This song is about hunting, and how hunters are egotistical cowards. The song implies that more and more animals will become extinct if keep keep hunting. | |

| It takes a really big man to kill something he's not gonna use the majority of...that's all I have to say on that. (first part sarcasm) | |

| I don't buy this shit about Dave being a reformed man one bit. I read an interview a while ago (shortly after he had his little meltdown over "Some Kind of Monster") where he was bragging about having fucked Kirk Hammett's girlfriend shortly after being (rightfully) kicked out of Metallica. He then queried of Kirk: "How do I taste?". How sweet of him. And yes, Rethorn makes a good point. Backing someone because of their religion instead of their policy is dark-ages bullshit and anyone who does it loses my respect. I spent the first 18 years of my life in the Greek Orthodox Church (I was an altar boy and everything), but I'm not perfect. As such, correct me if I'm wrong when I say that I'm having trouble finding the Bible verse that says "Thou shalt go forth and cutteth taxes of mega-rich tycoons and those most likely to sendeth American jobs overseas". As a matter of fact, I could have sworn that the Bible spends a pretty good amount of time scorning the rich and greedy while showing sympathy for the poor and glorifying those who give to them. When it comes to pre-emptive strikes that come up empty-handed in the end, I'm pretty sure I remember "Blessed are the peacemakers" rather than "Blessed are the bomb-droppers". When talking about homosexuality in the Bible, references are truly few and far between. Sure, it's an abomination according to scripture, but the same book (Leviticus) also condemns shellfish in the same way. If you've been to Red Lobster lately, you'd best drop to your knees. | |

| It doesnt seem to fit with the rest of the album i think. yet, it has the albums title. I would have assumed its got some kind of other meaning besides what it sounds like. but li ke someone above said, in the booklet of the updated version, he said its about caged hunts. i havent seen the booklet myself. I dont know much about the band themselves, but i see it like actors. i like their characters. or in this case, the lyrics. but anyway, the rest of the album seems like its about mustaines feelings or past. then bam, tree hugger song. (not to sound like i dont care about the enviornment) | |

| This song is about "Canned hunts". Look it up. I used to have the shirt to this song. It had the first paragraph on the back and a cage on the front with all these rare wild animals in it. You see, a canned hunt is where rich dickless dickheads go and pay alot of money to shoot a rare animal in a cage or in a small fenced-in field. Then they go and try to one-up the people they know by saying they went to a safari. | |

| This song is about hunting animals, yet at the same time is about humanity...the EXTICTION OF HUMANITY...i think some people miss that point in the song. All are gone, all but one .... This is it, this is the Countdown to Extinction SO people say its a "tree hugger" song...but if you actually look closely...there are other messages in it as well. Great song.... | |

| Rethorn gets it bang on in his last paragraph. It could be slow and steady, focussing on the sadness, but instead, he's gone for a more sarcastic, enraged view on the subject, which suits it totally in this song, whereas it wouldn't in one like A tout le monde (in my opinion). Definitely a good one to name the album after. | |

| This song is about humans killing off other species for stupid reasons; hunting, fur, etc. My favorite Megadeth song because I love animals and whoever kills them for fun should die | |
