| So cloes on the Shakespear thing. IMHO I think this song is a reference to hamlet, if it is not to anarchy. The play revolves around Hamlet plotting revenge on his uncle, the current king, who killed hamlet's father the old king. The first line of the play (depending on where it is sourced from) is "The king is dead. Long live the king" | |

| this is about how there is a ruler or king who ruins everything and does things wrong, everyone hates him and wants him killed so they all group together and take control but then there has to be a new king so they take control and go right down the same path the old ruler did kill the king, the king is dead, long live the king | |

| This is the first song that I heard by Megadeth. I fell in love with this song and now Megadeth is my favorite band. I believe this is about how in Medieval times, relatives would kill off family members to be king, only to be killed by another family member who wanted the throne just as much. | |
