	Actually, this song is about Mustaine still being bitter towards Metallica. When he said "lying in your bed" it meant that Dave was sleeping on the tour bus of Metallica's(when he was still part of the band) and they woke him up and gave him a bus ticket back home and said, "hey, you're out of the band." Megadeth never got to enjoy the success of Metallica, but they had bitterness, and that is where they got their drive. When Dave said, "it was just another day, just another fight" he was saying that although he had his differences with the band, he didnt' think it would end up that seriously. When he says "paybacks are a bitch" he is saying that he hopes Megadeth can conquer the success of Metallica. At the end where Mustaine says, "this was my life, this was my fate" he was referring to the fact that enjoying success in the music business was supposed to be his, and he always believed it was his fate. Metallica robbed him of that.
