	These replies, many of them, are sad. As a huge skynyrd fan...i have to say that metallica made this song even better then it was before. I'm honestly not sure which version i like better.

	Dude, Metallica trying to imitate something? What are you talking about? Their sound is totally different and they continue to grow musically. Hetfield and Hammett are sick sick guitarists, Lars is nasty, and, well...fuck Jason. But, dude, if Whiskey in the Jar is the only Metallica song you like I'd say your musical taste, well you have no taste. Enjoy listening to Creed while you finger your butt.

	Shut up Mr. No Name, its the same fuckin song. This songs good. Except if you listen very very closely after every line James sings he does this little gay thing where his voice goes all tryhard. that recks it, he's still a mad cunt though. By the way, does anyone know who plays the harmonica solo? I heard this song on Happy Gilmour like 5 years ago and always wondered what it was called and now thanks to metallica i now know. Metallica are fukin awesome
