	I also think that he is talking about drug use. It's talking about how you get so addicted to drugs that you will run from them, but yet they will be beside you staining your life.

	I feel that James is just trying to cope with the fact that his father was chosen to have cancer. It is hard for everyone who goes through something like this, and I feel that by expressing how you feel about something like this can really help you 'make peace' with yourself. Great song, by the way! :-)
