	Too bad Jesus would be the one siding with them... I think that it has to do with the fact that given Christian Doctrine, anyone who truley followed it would not be deserving of heaven, and that they should be struck down by the four horsemen.

	Geez. The song is just about how the four horsemen of the apocalypse will come down and kick lots of ass and if you stand in their way you get fragged. The perfect imagery for a young heavy metal group looking to kick ass. I don't think they meant to look beyond for additional imagery on this song. It sounds cool with the horsemen/apocalypse/armageddon/end of days/bible wording and mentions of ass kicking but that's about it.

	Ok, now for something completely off subject. Does anyone else find it amusing how this awesomely heavy and fast song all of a sudden goes into that "Sweet Home Alabama" riff as I like to call it. I laugh everytime I hear it. THen to top it off, the solo comes in then. Dave Mustaine didn't write this song....LYNYRD SKYNYRD DID! I don't know what I am talking about.

	there seems to be a little confusion here. the 4 horsemen spoken of in Revelation 6 (in the Bible) are on the side of Jesus, as Jigokusabre stated. but i`m not sure what the heck Jigokusabre is talking about in the rest of that post. and dr.jacob, i agree, religion definitly has screwed up what was a good thing.

	In the early days members of Metallica were fascinated by death, the bible (See creeping death) fantasy (the thing that should not be). This song was written around revelations. I especially like the slowed down version they played acoustically in later years...

	Anyone realize that Dave Mustaine (megadeth) wrote most of the riffing in this song? We all know the story of how they kicked him out.....If ya like this, you should hear "mechanix" by megadeth.
