All riffs except "main" one are played with harsh distortion. The "chorus"
riff is a guess, although the notes are correct, I don't really know how exactly
that small bit is played. This simple and rocking song (of course, it's sorta
self-ripoff of "So What":) was made for "Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines"
game and released through iTunes in late August of 2004. Later appeared
on Ministry's "Rantology" CD and on second edition of "Houses of the Mole"
album as a hidden bonus track. Check out "So What" bass tab and see the similarity!

| The song is about Regret of a Vampire who made the choice to become one, thinking it would give him power only to find that the world of the damned is not so simple to survive in, he has to hide his nature from mankind for he is hated. As the many years past it is wearing him, he lose more and more of his humanity and life seems barren to him as he struggle to give them meaning. | Wow, how can no one have said anything about this song yet?! I love it! The game where it comes from is about vampires, so I think it's about becoming a vampire and realising that your humanity is gone, you see people as food just because of the cursed bloodlines that have infected you. Awesome game, had horrible bugs that ruined it and the art was a little bit shite, but the story was amazing... | |
