| Here's an interesting bit of info behind how the Misfits got their name and their fixation with Marylin Monroe. Arthur Miller, a famous playwrite (Death Of A Salesman, The Crucible) was married to Monroe for a while, but she was still in love with Joltin' Joe so they seperated. Well a little while later Monroe died and an explanation for her death never came out. Miller decided to write a play about Monroe's life called Misfits, which chronicles Monroe's life from her rough childhood to her glamouros adulthood. Hence, the name of the band, and their fascination with Monroe. Good song too. | |
