| Punk is only dead because punks insist on saying it is. If you don't want punk to die, don't just sit around complaining about it - go create something. Anyway, Buck-O-Nine's cover of this song is pretty fucking cool, but nothing beats the Misfits. | |

| Teenager's From Mars- Perhaps, crazy, different teenagers. Or maybe it's literally -teenagers from mars. Either way, good song. Above i see people saying 'Punk is dead' A lot of people say that, but punk will never be dead if real punk music keeps being made by people who still feel it and the ideas behind punk. Once it's created it's never dead unless someone goes out and totally abuses it until the original idea is just lost, but is the idea lost? i don't think it is, only to the photocopy emos and the lost crowds who buy into the marketing schemes. Long Live Punk! haha. Oh, and Green Day aren't really that bad, give them a break. | |

| Many of the Misfits' songs are about horror movies, and I believe this is no exception. There was a 1959 movie called "Teenagers From Outer Space". The song doesn't follow the plotline directly, but I'm convinced the Misfits were at least inspired by this movie. | |
