| For me, the song is about the natural high you get from beeing a teenager in love in the summertime. Ilove how he talks about rading the liquor cabinet and going down to the riverbank. And the chords aren't the same as all the other 50's songs. It goes C Am Fm (instead of Fmaj) E. About the girl who sings with him. Her name is Nicole Johnson, she was just a studio singer who Modest Mouse apparently liked alot during their early years. Their voices compliment each other really well. Kind of a sweet/sour thing. | |
