| i think the song is about what everyone else has said. i also think its about how isaac and his friends drank and did a lot of drugs. thus he missed out on his "one chance". either this or here it comes is my favorite modest mouse song. i love the bass line in this song so much. | |

I think this particular part of the song is Isaac regretting all the minor offenses and petty arguments he had with his friends prior to their deaths, like he's frustrated that maybe the last time he saw someone they fought about something meaningless. | |
