| I just want to say how amazingly similar brocks writes compared to Bukowski. Not even in this album,(because he wisely went commercial) but in moon and antartica you can really see how similar their writing is. both coarse, full of sick humor, and honest insights into the minds of intellegent (but rare) people as well as the fucking masses of morons. (including all you damn punks). Now don't even try to argue with me. | |

| skd2k1, I think by "wake" he is referring to the event held after a funeral where the dead is mourned with family members and such. Although i guess I could see it as meaning "wake" as in getting up in the morning. perhaps a double meaning, but since both marriage and wakes are religious events that everyone (supposedly) should have one of (one when alive, one when dead), i think that the two terms are related. In response to what the references to cakes and weddings means in reference to devils work day and whatnot... i am a bit of a loss. Any other ideas? | |
