| This is clearly about how society is following the wrong path. "Take a drive in the wrong hand lane" It portrays the whole idea of mankind being the creator of it's own demise. With technology and machines. "well we taught the fruit how to eat itself" nad "we taught the mirror how to admire itself" clearly portray that. | here is what i had in my old notebook/laptop (circa 2000 so its probably horribly wrong) got yaself a muffin and you got yourself a muffin, and you think you're pretty tough but you aint got nothin, and you're goin to the store maybe you'll get an animal maybe you'll get lucky maybe you'll go to hell... (overlay by main vocals) you got yourself muffin you're a black hole talking about nothin dont know what you're saying you thought that i heard you but i was listenin to my headphones so you got yourself and you wanted different view so you searched the whole wide island and ya went into the s'loon (saloon) and got yaself some water walk across the country and you pick a pick-pocket but you do not get what you already got, and you get on the train where you usually kiss some butt you won an house and you feel ok well you ache in your bones and you're too insane and you can't can't can't replay, but you complain and its already nothing and you go two notes and eat yourself a muffin (repeat the walk the island lyrics and salloon) it sucks but its a lot better than anything anybody else came up with | |
