This is a tough song. It is played pretty fast and the fingering is tricky. If you practice
it enough it will sound really cool. Moody Blues Rule!!!

My thoughts on this song were probably influenced by the cool album artwork. An old man and a boy gaze into some type of jewel probably looking at their fortune. The song also waivers between optimism and pessimism. That's kind of how my mind works. Optimism: We're part of the fire that is burning And from the ashes we can build another day Pessimism: But I'm frightened for your children And the life that we are living is in vain And the sunshine we've been waiting for Will turn to rain. Great music and lyrics. A classic!
