Artist: Muse
Song: Ruled By Secrecy
Album: Absolution (2003)
Tuning: C-A-D-G
Notes: I don't know what tuning Chris uses on this song but he seems to hit
very low notes so I've tabbed it on a 4-string tuned to C-A-D-G

God, I ALWAYS say this, but Matt Bellamy is one of the most ingenious musicians I've ever had the privalege to listen to...But yeah, I love the classical/alternative style of his piano playing--Just gorgeous.

Actually, this song is based on a book called "Rule By Secrecy", so it's about conspiracy and cover-ups.

This is the perfect, peaceful end to a perfect album - it is easily the best muse song and one of the best songs ever. When I hear this song, i get the idea of a web of secrets and lies that have taken over someones life and they want to kill themself because of the drama and then the quiet end. This song is TRULY BEAUTIFUL!

I heard what this was about on the radio or something a while ago. It's about this guy who comes home from work to his wife with blood all over his hands and stuff after he just goes crazy and kills everyone because the feeling that he isn't in control of his life, that higher powers are controlling everything he does has finally driven him insane.

That's very interesting, LDG. I don't really know what the song is about, but I have to say that it is amazing. It's probably one of my favorites of all time.

i always love the build up towards the end of the song, i just picture the end of the world i spose, i think it depicts the panic and confusion etc. that everyone would be feeling as it happened 'change in the air and they'll hide everywhere and no one knows who's in control' that probably makes no sense to anyone, but thats what i think :P its a perfect end to the album, it really is an amazing song

I love the way this builds and it manages to sound so menacing. Its, like moshme84 said, beyond amazing. I also love the fade into nothing at the end. so creepy. but so dam good!
