| Lyrically similar to the track "Hyper Music" found on "Origin of Symmetry". However, I feel this version, found on Hullabaloo, is much much better. | |

| i really like hyper music , it really shows matt bellamy has on his musical influences, this is slow and the new lyrics kind of ruined the song for me , but i agree this is the end of the discussion of hyper music when he's calm down. | |

| Hyper Chondriac Music is one of the only slow muse songs that I'd count among my favourites. I think the last two lines are almost like someone lying to themselves. They really DO love the person, but they find it too painful to admit it. | |

| I think that this is the yin to the Hyper Musis yang to put it simply. I personally think hte lyrics suit this arrangement more (although HM is fab).I doubt Matt would write about God,being the ultimate atheist. I think it's about someone's past,he just doesn't give two shits about who they knew or what they did. | |

| This song is almost Matt Bellamy saying sorry for Hyper-Music, and i'm pretty sure he once said that it was a "stupid song". This really links together with what 'fishy' said up the top. Slide guitar is brilliant in this...and it has that "Con-science" feel to it, where the song starts off simple with just an acoustic guitar and some atmospheric slide guitar doodling in the background but builds up in power and has a huge clashing climax at the end with a massive solo and some sampling doodling again. Fantastic!! | |
