| this song is amazing!! they are such simple lyrics but mean a lot at the same time. i think the song is about a guy that is addicted to drugs therefore always in his own little world where everything is fine e.g. 'no-one is dying alone' this guy has a friend who is telling him to get off the drugs and that he'll help him through it, even though it will hurt him now it won't in the long run. that made sense in my head, but now that i write it down it doesn't | |

| I think Spirit is right about both of his ideas ... I think it's about a person who is wrapped up in thier own world and is oblivious to some negative aspects that the persona thinks his friend needs to become aware of. A drug addiction could certainly fuel such a situation. | |

Tyler Wanna Be |

| This song reminds me of a girl i know who is totally delusional. In her world she is perfect and everything happens exactly as she wants it to. Even when reality blatantly contradicts her she has conditioned herself to alter her memories until the past is only what she wanted it to be. The scary thing is this can happen in less than a day. My friend spent 2 months trying to break up with her because she would freak out every time and leave then come back having forgoton what had just happened. At this point im one of the few people who will still speak to her and she usually outright hates me because i bring her back to reality for a bit trying to help her and she cant handle it. Thus to me this song is like every conversation i have with her. | |
