| Man, Muse is the best band of all time, I've been a long time fan of theirs. Well, I think this is my favorite song on the album, and that's a feat, given that every single song is incredible. Personally, I believe that the song is about a rebirth of sorts. It's definitely about a relationship, one of long-standing. But I believe that it hasn't ended, it's just changed in some way or another. I always thought of it as a relationship that started to fall apart, until something forced the two of them to change, which brings a new light to their love. Lines like "I'll love whatever you've become," and "making the same mistakes again," seem to point out a reevaluation, perhaps a destruction of the past: "nothing will ever stay the same," "memories I will never find." In any case, it's pure brilliance, makes me want to cry every time I hear it. Powerful stuff, no matter how you interpret it. | |

| one of the greatest ways to put how a relationship has ended without sounding bitter sounds more like he knows everything is over, yet he is happy to know that it happened | |

| America is now realising the coolness of Muse!! Anyway this song actually reminds me of an ex-boyfriend and after all the business with him it used to make me really sad but it doesn't now. It is a beautiful song. I have said that about so many!! For some reason it always makes me want to write a story. Real inspiring! Just proves it's greatness even more!! Lovely lovely lovely lovely..... Ah. | |

| Just like others have said, I think think song is about a break up. He still loves the person with all his heart and will always love them but he realizes that he needs to move on. | |
