i definetly think he is denying perfection. the idea is that what we think is paradise is really just one big pain in the ass and not worth the injustice it would take to acheive it. it's almost like he's saying he doesn't want to to go to war in in order to acheive peace (as all wars have claimed as their reason). oh and megalomania is when one person is so obsessed with themselves they are almost dictators. hitler would be a great example, the guy practically thought he was a god. i dont see what is has to do with big cities, but whatever you were saying about that sounds more like Romanticism (as in Roman and not romance).

"The bass line in this song really reminds me of "Kefkas theme" from final fantast VI. " It does. o.o I need to listen to the remixes of that again. xD

meg·a·lo·ma·ni·a Audio pronunciation of megalomania ( P ) Pronunciation Key (mg-l-mn-, -mny) n. 1. A psychopathological condition characterized by delusional fantasies of wealth, power, or omnipotence. 2. An obsession with grandiose or extravagant things or actions. IMO, the best song Muse ever made.

I need this song breaking down. I can kinda relate the megalomania thing but I cant see how all the pieces fit. Maybe it's better that way.

Another point... an church organ sound goes through the song. Plus, i just remembered, i think its about hypocrisy of some church people eg priests
