A thing of beauty is rare indeed but I think we have found it here. There is a pain borne of loss that I feel when I hear this song, reminds me of when I lost someone close to me. There can be a certain dignity in loss, and the music here illustrates it for me. Undertones of Laurence of Arabia in this track and anyone who has ever looked into a desert (be it metaphorical or actual) should be able to get a sence of eternity from this track. The lyrics are sheer poetry. Read them out load without the music and I challenge you to feel unmoved. Beautifull.

This song lies in direct connection with Butterflies and Hurricanes in the way that it's the "self doubt" side of everything. It's the desire to right the world again, however, not having the selfcapacity to do so. It speaks to a specific number of people in a realistic way today. Those who follow life as the world gives it to them, instead of taking charge of it, in this postapocalyptical world. I would refer to this as my personal "fall from grace" song. The kind of song I could picture in a movie of someone committing suicide in really slow motion as it panned to other characters in the story. I don't know that's just me.

Wow, this song moves me so much. Almost to tears when it's late and I'm tried and thinking about the day and life and things. Which is usually a lot. Does anybody know the background music to this? It sounds farmiliar, like in some old movie a long time ago. I was surprised nobody else recognized it. Any help would be great, just e-mail me.

I love the way they did this song in 3/4, much different from music you hear a lot nowadays
