| The end of the part where it says "your government is in control" It doesn't say "Let Freedon Ring" yet - They dont say that until the end of the next little stanza after "before you break". Just a little lyric correction. Also I'm pretty sure it should be "This dam is about to break" - since the actual thing called a dam (holds water in) fits the sentence more than damn - an expression. Since every lyrics site I know has these same flawed lyrics, I can't say for sure who Copy/Pasted who. --------------- The background lyric is the first part of the song yes, but slightly changed. Like instead of "With a bloated sense of supremacy" - they say "The Puppet winks with a bloated sense of supremacy" - They add that first part on. And instead of "its whats beleived by your enemy" they say "Its not True, its whats beleived by your enemy" and the last few times they do the background thing - It sounds almost totally different than the first verse. | |

| The beginning of this song-the part sung by J Mann-is soo awesome. It basically is saying how the government does whatever it feels like, including declaring war. and tells us all what to believe. The best line is 'might is right and thought is wrong, it's a long road nowhere enjoy the ride with blinders on' and it's saying how anyone who has a different opinion against the government and who doesn't believe everything that was spoon-fed to them is told how wrong they are. We've been told by the government that's we'll all be safe in our homes as long as we don't question what they do even thought they're destroying the world. | |

| It's about US government unleashing the dogs of war once again, out of a false sense of having a mission in the world. ...while in fact all they are doing is destroying the world around them. At the same time government, pretending to protect it's citizens makes it more and more impossible to speak out against them. People backing up the government are but puppets, their bloated sense of supremacy (over the rest of the world) makes them miss the point that the government just uses the war to stabilize its own powers inside the US system. He feels supressed by the waves of hatred and warmongering around him, and asks himself how much longer this senseless behaviour can go on before 'the dam breaks'. | |

| This song was origanally two separate songs "Destroy the world" and "The world around me" but then it was put together. The voice in the backround is Skinny, reciting the lyrics from the begining of the song. | |

| Official lyrics here As they feed the war machine and pull the strings behind the scenes With a bloated sense of supremacy Blinded by the preconceived distorted way to be perceived It's what's believed by your enemy Hold on to something - Here come the rains This dam is about to break Hold on to nothing - Self-contained How much more can you take Might is right and thought is wrong it's a long road nowhere Enjoy the ride with blinders on Your government is in control they'll keep you safe inside your homes Board your windows lock your doors Hold on to something - Here come the rains This dam is about to break Hold on to nothing - Self-contained How much more can you take Before you break Let freedom ring Unto the dawn of darkness - glistening Faithless savior murder me Feed me to failure - disbelief What does it take - everything I could want believe Feed me to failure faithless savior murder me Finish me - feed me to failure murder me Finish me - what does it take to stop me Finish me - nothing could make me not believe Won't let this world get to me - finish me I'll never live your life for me - unto the dawn Unto the dawn of darkness Unto the dawn - glistening Feed me to failure finish me Feed me to failure murder me Unto the dawn of darkness finish me Finish me - Unto the dawn murder me Caught in the wave of the world around me And in this state I'm sure it could drown me Will I ever learn the way? Everywhere I turn today Something tells me run away Something burns inside me Even though I've pressed erase Feel it slowly fade away Thoughts that go on endlessly How much longer can I wait? What does it take? Caught in the wave of the world around me And in this state I'm sure it could drown me Caught in the wave of the world around me And in this state I'm sure it could drown me What does it take? Will I ever learn the way? Everywhere I turn today Something tells me run away Something burns inside me Even though I've pressed erase Feel it slowly fade away Thoughts that go on endlessly How much longer can we wait? Caught in the wave of the world around me And in this state I'm sure it could drown me | |
