yeah, I know I'm dead wrong, but I my best friend died last monday, and this song reminds me of him. If you've ever lost someone that close to you, you might see how it kinda works. Without a window to see through (I can’t see what else is going on) I did my time, in here without you (Life’s been hard, and you’re not here) Slept on the floor down in LBC (I’m at an uncomfortable place far from “home” or wherever things are right) Lead me back home under the marquee (Take me home where I belong. Where everything is as it should be. And where I’m sheltered from this “rain” or depression) It seems like misery loves misery (It seems like everything’s just a little better when you have someone who understands what you’re going through) But my favorite songs, they keep me company (But because you’re not here to relate to me, I listen to my favorite music to make me feel a little better) So many memories come down to this (We have so many memories. I never thought it would come to this) I may be lost but I'm not hopeless (I might be feeling lost right now, but that doesn’t make me hopeless) I heard that sound a mile away (Maybe they can hear music or a sound from heaven or something. I don’t know) All those things I wish that I could say (There were so many things I wish I could have said before you died) Came in like static off the TV (Like clutter said, maybe it’s something from God) This kind of thing never goes easy (It’s never easy losing someone. He was only 15…) I meant to tell you but you were gone (I had something to tell you, but I was too late) Tried to get it right, I got it all wrong (I tried to fix things but instead I screwed them up) Sat outside the show with nowhere else No where else to go Doors shut can't see It sure does sound good to me! Whoa! About that last verse, I’m clueless. But like I said, I’m probably no where close to the real meaning.
