hmm.. I went to their show a couple weeks ago. Before the song the singer was like "this song's about vampires" .. soo I think that pretty much sums it up :)

I usually totally over-analyze but I thought this song was a straight-out vampire fantasy. but then I guess some of that vampires-society connection is valid after reading a dif. interview with Gerard. He says, "Yeah, obviously we use vampires as a metaphor for something else, something deeper than just the supernatural. But there's just something about the bloodsucking walking dead, that can say so much to people. There are really so many people trying to get control over you on a daily basis and steal your soul in some way, take a part of you..." http://www.geocities.com/dot_alt1/MCR_int.html

if anyone happens to own the my chemical romance shirt with the red james dean graphic, it has the entire part he whispers at the end written on it. i remember it also being on the splash of the mcr site.

I think this song is about someone wanting some other person to kill them for whatever reason, but that other person can't because he/she loves the other so much.

at the end he says "and as always innocent, like rollercoaster fatality, like ghosts in the snow..."
