Indeed. My favorite song from Let Go. In concert Matt said, rather sarcastically, that this was based on a 'true story that happened in his kitchen'. The lyrics obviously reflect that it's about more than that. But still, poor fruit flies...though, I've killed hundreds of them in genetics lab. Maybe I should write a song about that.

I actually this song is much more powerful when taking literally rather than metaphorically. What CAN a fruit fly do but go on?
