A loud but melodious US alternative punk band, New Bomb Turks' manifesto was to rid their genre of its more dour concerns, re-establishing the sheer adrenaline rush and hedonism of the music. They met while studying at Ohio State University, where each of the members - Eric Davidson (vocals), Jim Weber (guitar), Matt Reber (bass) and Bill Randt (drums) - read English.
