I totlally agree with Zebrahead, the new cd is definetly better than the self title, but its still not even close to Nothing Gold Can Stay, and Mark really isnt that great of bass player

i didn't know mark played bass for something i call personnality but i know he wrote the bassline for sincerely me. And i agree AFireInside, Mark really isn't that good a bassist. I think Ian is alot better. But i find it hard to say if the self titled album was better or if sticks and stones is better. They both rock but i find that NFG's style changed a bit for sticks and stones. Anywayz, NFG rox , and everyone should check out this new band coming out soon called Mackenzie first. They have a couple of songs off their demo on Kazaa. Check it out , they rock.

I agree zbhead311, this is so much better then the popy songs like Hit or Miss, and I think My Friends Over you is the worst song on this new album, belongs with the rest of the pop that they put out last time. And Nothing Gold can Stay will never have a as good as follow up, because there is to much comprimise on the last two albums. The debut album is allways the staple of a bands collection. It is no strigs attached, because you have nothing to look forward to, and if good things happen then you put out a more popculture accepted album. But I love this song, "it's burning up in hear, even thought the bed is cold on your side"

ok true NFG fans wont say that ALL the songs on sticks and stones are "eh" cause all of the cd's are great sticks and stoes is just a more mature cd w/ more mature lyrics...NFG is the best band out right now and all of the songs by them are fuckin sweet!
