I think this song is about a guy with a female friend who's always looking for the perfect guy, falling in love, and screwing it up... and he's always there being the good guy to her.. he won't say anything about the guys unless she asks, sort of letting her make her mistakes... but he wishes she wouldn't be afraid to give him a try, though. it's happened so many times that he is starting to believe everyone else, that she will continue to screw up and never learn her lesson.

It has nothing to do with guys. Or girls. The ENTIRE new album is just trashing Geffen records. They tried to turn NFG into the next Blink 182. This entire song is basically like "FUCK YOU GEFFEN RECORDS" I don't really feel like going into detail. They want them to realize that they don't want to be all famous and mainstream..though, they are. They don't want to be marketed link Blink was, though.

I love this song... =D Oh and... it isn't "i will cast the first stone or leave the last mark rally the lasting impression " It is 'I wont cast the first stone, or leave the first mark, but I will leave a lasting impression.......' :)

i have a friend who keeps on telling girls that he's poor and all this other stuff just for sympathy and this song seems exactly like that in some lines and its also about this girl who is looking for all the wrong things when im right there for her and i dont think she'll ever learn her lesson
