| A) These lyrics are seriously messed up. Go to Nickelback.com and get the real ones. B) This song is obviously about someone who is very independent. It also seems like he might be getting into a physical fight as well as a verbal one. Alcohol probably does have something to do with this song since Chad is a drinker, does the bar thing and even has drinking contests at shows. | |

| i disagree with ic6md, i don't think alcohol has anything to do with it. It sounds more to me like he's being attacked by someone while he's alone and unable to stand up to them. I think it's about knowing when you're beaten and when to back out and 'crawl away' | |

| hehe. i really like this song. to me its about goong it alone and depending on your self. i remeber the first time iI played the cd to my freind he was expecting somthing more typical of nickle back and then this just blasts through the cd player his fucking jaw dropped. its also the one and only song by them that has double kick drum in it. being a drummer, im very pleased about this. | |
