| about a year ago my dad died of cancer and it made things hard for my mom and my siblings. i was 15 at the time and i couldnt understand why this had happened, and i was very alone. the words...It's too bad, it's too bad Too late, so wrong, so long It's too bad that we had no time to rewind Let's walk, let's talk Let's talk You left without saying goodbye Although I'm sure you tried... you werent there when i am needing you the most... when i heard those words it was like a new found faith had hit me. it was everything that was bottled up inside me and i was able to relate to something deep. i admired my dad so much and letting go of him was one of the most difficult things that i have ever had to do. the words written on that song are a message are a lesson that we can all learn from. peace, eric | |

| Ya i can relate to this song too....my dad left us when i was around 7 but that was when my friends parents separated...i went up to my dad and asked him if hed ever leave us and he said of course not! then the next year he left for montreal for his" work"...and never came back | |

| this is a really good song on its own, but the video for it helps it so much more. the video gave me chills, and made we wanna cry..... i love the way the lead singer dude sings beginning, ("Fathers hands were lined with dirt From long days in the field") its a cool effect on the song,,,,deep voice thing goin on | |

| this song hit me hard too. but not like you would think. I have a dad that loves me and he always has. the one that left was my mom. she left and came back 4 times. I was 6-7 when she frst left and I hated her for it! (you left without saying goodbye) reminds me of her! she never did say goodbye! | |
