Based in Leeds, England, Nightmares On Wax began as a duo of George Evelyn (DJ EASE) and Kevin Harper. In the early 80s, Evelyn spent time breakdancing with the Soul City Rockers, alongside future members of Unique 3, and as Nightmares On Wax he began DJing with Harper at parties and then clubs in the mid-80s.
